Gay Pride

As Gay Pride week drawstrings to a close (get it?), we at Artists 4 Israel are proud of Israel's many freedoms and protection of all people. Many artists are happy and this is yet another reason we support the beautiful country of Israel.

Gay marriages? Israel has had those for quite some time. Catch up, Obama.

Watch this remarkable video below.

Winston Churchill: The Remix

"Out of the depths of sorrow and sacrifice will be born again the glory of mankind."

Congratulations to GAIA and Imminent Disaster

GAIA, Artists 4 Israel Artist in Residence and one of our teachers for our second (S)kin event, had a joint show at the famous Ad Hoc Art Gallery in Brooklyn. He is showing alongside Imminent Disaster. The two created a surreal world of fantasy and fiction, a never-land of make believe truth where animals walked among man and the light of the moon shown from below on sentimental figments of our faith.

Anybody want some cotton candy?

Thank you to MED, CES, YES2, Pucci and the rest of the Bronx graffiti community for showing A4I and the beautiful state of Israel some birthday love.

COPE2 and Jay-Z must be Artists for Israel

Check the video below. That is the brand new, Jay-Z track, D.O.A. that is singlehandedly, destroying and rebuilding the hip-hop community. There is a whole lot of concerns and issues about this song, its target and its messages. But, what is without question is that Jay only shows off the finest of the fine, including graffiti by the Living Legend, COPE2. Of course, COPE is an A4I affiliate.

Here is big daddy COPE with SUEWORKS, the Director of the Exterior Decorating division of Artists 4 Israel in front of a crazy, 3-dimensional A4I piece.

Free Gilad Shalit

Today, we learn that a deal for the release of Gilad Shalit might be reached in the immediate future. We take this opportunity to pray for his health and strength.

We would also like to thank Scott Brown, the gifted artist who contributed this piece to our permanent collection. It is our great hope that this piece might become unnecessary very soon.

Black Lips in Israel

I always said that Tel Aviv was like a little piece of Brooklyn.
